Abstract :
En 1784, à l'instigation de Giovanni Battista Ponfredi, le sculpteur Vincenzo Pacetti réalisa pour le Panthéon de Rome un monument commémoratif en l'honneur du peintre Marco Benefial. A l'appui de documents d'archives l'auteur émet l'hypothèse que l'élève de ce dernier, Marcello Bacciarelli, a participé au financement du monument ;
