Abstract :
Surveys documents (ca.1817-1830) and cadastal maps produced by the Florentine Deputazione sopra il catasto in preparation for the new land register of Florence. The documents shed light on building typologies, the reuse of historic architecture, the distribution of artisan industries and on Florentine urbanism prior to the transformation and destruction of many parts of the city in the late 19th-early 20th cs. ;
