- Picnic house with shell-work interior built ca.1746-1759 along an ornamental lake in the park of Hallingbury Place. Hallingbury was demolished in 1923 and the Shell House now stands in forest land owned by the National Trust. The interiors have recently been restored by Diana Reynell. ;
