- Describes the recently excavated 6th c. church (dedicated to S. George) and its complex. The structure was probably built as a family memorial and was in some way connected with the vaulted burial chamber beneath the center apse. Mosaic pavements were among the discoveries. Although largely in ruins, the building is the best preserved Byzantine church in the northern region of Israel. ;
