Presents and analyzes the history and content of a previously unpublished late 16th c. manuscript (Rome, Museo francescano) by the Capuchin monk Gregorio da Napoli (identified by the editor as a member of the Tolosa family). The work contains a collection of 16th c. notarial documents on the foundation (1530-1600) of 16 Capuchin convents in Naples and in the Terra di Lavoro. Includes a preface by Giovanni Romeo. ;
