- On the late 17th-18th c. decoration of the church of S. Angelo in Pescheria, Rome, and the 19th-early 20th c. conservation history of the church. Determines, from previously unpublished documents, that for the Holy Year of 1700, cardinal Francesco Barberini commissioned Carlo Maratti for mural paintings (carried out by Domenico Paradisi, Domenico Belletti and Giacinto Calandrucci) on the ceiling and in the tribune. (None of this decoration survives.) Also refers to other commissions carried out collaboratively by these artists. ;
