- Examines a group of related portraits depicting Phillip II of Spain, including works by Alonso Sánchez Coello, after Antonis Mor, attributed to Lucas de Heere, and one here attributed to the workshop of Hans Eworth (ca.1557; 's-Heerenberg, Stichting Huis Bergh). Posits that all derive from a lost original by Mor that was to be the official portrait of Phillip as King of England, painted sometime between 1555 and 1558. ;
