- Reviews the Reverbations Symposium organised by the Transcultural Research Program at the Jan van Eyck-akademie, Maastricht (23 Apr-24 Apr 1999). The symposium aimed to be an exploration of practices of cultural resistance and possible responses/reactions by individuals and collectivities to the centers of power and their creation of dominant paradigms - which only begin to include 'outsiders' if it is on their terms and situations remain within their control. ;
