- A l'appui de documents des Archives municipales de Bordeaux, recherches sur la vie et l'oeuvre de ce peintre, élève de Giovanni Antonio Berinzago, maître italien actif à Bordeaux dès 1755. Gonzalès, après avoir travaillé à de nombreux projets de décoration intérieure, devient décorateur ordinaire du Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux de 1786 à 1788. En annexe, catalogue chronologique des oeuvres connues de Gonzalès de 1769 à 1800/1801 ;
