Surveys the iconography of S. Catherine of Siena in 15th-18th-c. art in Poland. Observes that although few churches were dedicated to her, all Dominican churches had an altar in her name. Examines her appearance in paintings with Dominican subjects. Notes that because of her link to the cult of the Rosary, she also appears in many works commissioned by Polish confraternities of the Rosary. According to this study, the most frequent appearance of Catherine in Polish art is in paintings of the Madonna of the Rosary. ;
