- A small, sub-rectangular enclosure was surveyed in 1994 and excavated in 1995. The finds, described by Christine Howard-Davis, are sparse, mostly medieval (and possibly early medieval), pottery and iron blade fragments. There is a note on the historical context by Caron Newman. The favoured interpretation of the site is that it represents a medieval scale, occupied sporadically during the summer for up to 200 years and possibly established as part of a monastic bercary system organised by Cockersand Abbey. ;
