- Interview with Kornelia von Berswordt-Wallrabe, director since 1993 of the Staatlichen Museum in Schwerin, which includes the museum in the Schwerin Palace as well as the palaces and gardens at Güstrow and Ludwigslust. Berswordt-Wallrabe comments on the development of the museums over the past decade, the acquistion in 1997 of a collection of works by Marcel Duchamp, the importance of having avant-garde art in the former East Germany, and the impact of reunification on the museums' audiences and sense of mission. ;
