Studies Don Pottery pearlwares made between 1801-1834 and decorated with designs based on engravings from the French Abbé de Saint-Non's account of a tour through southern Italy and Sicily in the late 18th c. Compares the transfer-printed designs in the 'named Italian views' series with the engravings that served as their sources. ;
