- On the Observant reform movement within the Franciscan order, and on the relation of the convent of La Verna to this movement. (The convent was occupied by the Observants 1431-1624.) Includes considerations on the 15th-16th-c. architecture of the convent, on Franciscan art (15th-17th cs.) reflecting themes specific to the Observants, and on the cult of S. Francis of Assisi practiced there. ;
