- Presents research on medieval brick and pottery kilns in the province of Cagliari. Individuates and lists 283 toponymns (including a site near the Castello di Monreale, Sardara) with names indicating the historic presence of a kiln. Also examines Early Christian and medieval sites where bricks and terracotta architectural elements were used, and observes that a study of medieval building statutes would also certainly reveal information on the supply of terra cotta construction materials. ;
