- Examines a 16th-c. jeweled box and two late 16th-c. or early 17th-c. devotional pendants in the Alsdorf Collection, Art Institute of Chicago. Comments on the box's resemblance to a temple and investigates the gold pendants' painted motifs, which include scenes from the lives of Christ and S. Francis, as well as a Noli Me Tangere scene. ;
