- Summarizes the results of the 1990s excavation at the 12th-17th-c. abbey of S. Rabano (formerly known as S. Maria Alborense) near Grosseto. The site was founded as a Benedictine abbey; in 1303 it passed to the Knights of S. John of Jerusalem. Describes the finds, which include architecture and early 17th-c. coins minted for Cesare d'Este, duke of Modena, for the Garfagnana region, and in Lucca. Includes 14 catalogue entries for the coins. ;
