- Discusses the architectural features of an early-14th-c. crypt with a pointed barrel vaulted ceiling constructed of chalk blocks. The crypt is currently accessed via a 19th-c. brick passage. The function of the structure is unknown, although the cruciform shape and apparently intended east-west alignment imply that it had a religious use. ;
