Abstract :
Etude des sept chemins de croix peints par Théophile Robert entre 1930 et 1943 dans les cantons de Fribourg (Ependes, Sommentier, Orsonnens, Wünnewil), de Berne (Tavannes), de Neuchâtel (Saint-Blaise) et du Jura (Montfaucon). Cette période de la carrière du peintre est à comprendre en fonction du contexte d'un renouveau de l'art sacré catholique romand dont Alexandre Cingria fut le promoteur en fondant le Groupe de Saint-Luc. ;
