- Summarizes archaeological data on several classes of medieval pottery excavated in the Calabria region, i.e., unglazed amphorae and kitchen utensils (8th-11th cs.), and lead-glazed wares (6th-14th cs.). Observes that especially during the 13th-14th cs., large quanties of lead-glazed wares and early majolica were imported from Sicily, North Africa, and Puglia. ;
