- Attributes a drawing of a female figure (Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum) to Colombel, identifying it as a preparatory study for the Madonna in his painting S. Dominic Presenting the Dominican Saints to Christ (ca.1680-1690; Grenoble, Musée de Grenoble). Observes that the style and technique of the drawing are influenced by Eustache Le Sueur, with whom Colombel apprenticed. Also discusses (in a note) Anthony Blunt's attribution of a drawing Stoning of S. Stephen (private collection) to Colombel, leaving the question open. ;
