- Describes fragments of a glass beaker decorated with three rows of cut ovals, and attempts to reconstruct its original appearance. Through comparison with similar vessels found in Scandinavia and on the continent, dates the beaker to the 4th c. and identifies it as a drinking vessel, possibly of late Roman origin, made in either the southeastern or western parts of the continent. ;
