- Describes how Ogham script inscribed on stones decorated only with incised crosses can be used to date such monuments, and speculates about how such a dating technique might be applied to monuments lacking any inscriptions. Describes the various types of cross forms found on these stones. Briefly notes what a chronology of these stones can reveal about the early history of Christianity and ecclesiastical contacts in Ireland. ;
