Discusses Leopold Eidlitz's proposal for what was to be called the Grand Central School of Architecture, which was rejected by the American Institute of Architects. Discusses Eidlitz's education in Vienna and his work as an architect in the United States. Compares the proposed Grand Central School with the MIT architecture school, which was founded by William R. Ware in 1868. ;
