- L'auteur montre, à travers l'étude d'éléments sculptés de l'église S. Giovanni a Carbonara à Naples, l'influence antique qui se manifeste dans des parties du portail latérale de l'église (vesr 1426-1432) mais surtout les tendances stylistiques florentines introduites par des sculpteurs toscans, en particulier dans le monument funéraire de Ser Gianni Caracciolo, entrepris avant 1432. ;
