- Discusses the ways in which Coleridge's concept of the sublime, as expressed in his poem 'This Lime-Tree Bower My Prison,' was tested by Wordsworth's 'Immortality Ode,' and by Turner and Friedrich in their landscape paintings, but then rejected by Mary Shelley in her novel Frankenstein. ;
