- Etude d'un sceau conservé au Musée numismatique d'Athènes. L'auteur examine la figure de Michel VIII portant l'icone de la Vierge des Blachernes. Se fondant sur l'inscription, il démontre qu'il a été frappé à l'occasion du rétablissement de l'institution du Sekreton, juste après la reprise de Constantinople en 1261. Le texte a pu être rédigé par Michel Kakos, dit Senachereim, qui a été nommé à la tête du Sekreton. ;
