Abstract :
Describes a collection of 17th-18th c. documents and architectural drawings of Cervia, formerly in the collection of count Antonio Cavagna Sangiuliani di Gualdara (1843-1912) and now in the archives of the University of Illinois Library. Focuses on the plans by Francesco Fontana for buildings in the papal 'new town,' built 1697-1714. Also discusses a drawing by Carlo Francesco Dotti for the new church of S. Francesco in Cervia nuova. ;
