Description of the restoration undertaken 1987-1989 of Nytorv 5 in Copenhagen including: building history; color-archaeological study; archival study; and x-ray study. These reveal that the walls were covered with oil paintings by Nicolai Abildgaard illustrating the first five acts of Voltaire's Le Triumvirat. ;
